Graduation Requirements

You must obtain 22 units and a GPA of 2.0 in order to graduate with a College Preparatory Diploma and transcript from Oklahoma Academy. The following courses are required:

• Bible -- One unit each for the Freshman and Sophomore year if in attendance
• Bible/English -- Two units (Religious Literature, Research Writing)
• English -- Two units
• Math -- Three units (Algebra 1, Geometry, Algebra 2)
• Personal Finance or Accounting -- 1/2 unit for Personal Finance, one unit for Accounting
• Science -- Two units with lab (Biology, Chemistry)
• Social Studies -- Three units (World History, American History, Cultural Geography for World Missions)
• Foreign Language -- Two units (Spanish)
• Music Theory -- 1/2 unit if attending as a Freshman
• Health -- One unit
• Typing -- 1/2 unit
• Introduction to Computers -- 1/2 unit
• Vocational -- 1/2 unit
• Music -- Two years credit during four years of attendance at Oklahoma Academy.

A General (non-College preparatory) Diploma will be issued for students whose class-load has been modified to meet their needs.
